Description
Since the 1950s, Fodor’s® has been helping travelers unleash the possibilities of travel with insights and tools to achieve the best travel experiences. To help Fodor’s evolve their digital publishing process, Enharmonic built a custom API layer that integrates and distributes content from multiple sources to supply content to fodors.com, a high profile travel site with tens of millions of monthly page views. The API also provides convenient access to content for Fodor’s B2B clients, who license various subsets of content.
Features
- Integrates content from multiple sources, including extracting data from content management systems, loading manually maintained source documents, and importing feeds extracted from outside systems.
- Provides powerful, intuitive reporting that helps editors assess and validate the integrated content as it evolves, including fluid, web-based browsing of report results at summary and detail levels, and exports for easy formatting and further exploration and manipulation.
- Manages licensing partner access to content through API keys via sophisticated, highly customizable filters that can be created and browsed with an intuitive web-based admin interface.
- API and content extracts follow industry-standard conventions such as a REST style API and XML and JSON-formatted output to streamline integrating content for partners’ developers.
